The purpose of this study is to investigate attitudes of ELL’s before and after taking the MCAS. We hope to focus on their perceptions of the test, whether they feel/felt prepared or not, and whether they agree with such testing for newcomers. It will be interesting to see if their attitudes change once they have experienced the test for the first time.
